Obituary from the Auburn Globe-Republican

John Wiley McKee, 81, died at his home at Jovita Heights Friday,
Jan

6, after an illness of two days.  Funeral services were held
Tuesday

at 2:00 at Lemar's Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Jack Nelson of

Seattle conducting the services.  Burial was in Mountain View

Cemetery.

He is survived by four sons: James, Seattle; Henry, Keating, OR;

Leonard, Portland, OR; and P. A. McKee, Rt 3 Auburn.  Mr McKee
was

born in Georgia in July, 1851.  He had been a resident of the
Jovita

Heights district for several years.

Sarah Jane LAKE [Parents] was born 9 Mar 1856 in Wedowee, Randolph County, Alabama. She died 22 Dec 1922 in Auburn, Washington. Sarah married John Carter Wiley MCKEE on 25 Dec 1873 in Wolf Creek, Polk County, Wisconsin.
