Robert Sr./Sr. FARICY [Parents] was born 1821 in Enniskean, County Cork, Ireland. He died 1896 in Scott County, MN. Robert married Margaret DORDAN on 1853 in Feeding Hills, MA.

Robert Faricy, Sr. was born in Enniskean, County Cork, Ireland
in

1821.  It is believed that he emigrated from there to the United

States in either 1850 or 1851.  He settled in Feeding Hills, MA
where

he obtained employment, probably in the same factory where his
brother

James worked.  In 1853 he married Margaret Dordan who had also

emigrated from County Cork.  In 1854 a son, James, was born.  In
1855

he left Feeding Hills with his wife and son, joining his brother
James

and his wife Bridget, as well as his brother Patrick on their
journey

to Minnesota.  He homesteaded the SW 1/4 of section 9 Twp 114,
Range

21, Scott County, MN, his homestead adjoining those of his
brothers

James and Patrick.  On April 1, 1861, a patent was issued by the
US to

Robert Faricy, granting him title to this 160 acres of land.
The

patent was recorded in the office of the registrar of deeds of
Scott

County on June 30, 1875.  Both he and his wife died on this
homestead,

Margaret in 1890 and Robert in 1896.

Margaret DORDAN married Robert Sr./Sr. FARICY on 1853 in Feeding Hills, MA.
