Kenneth WHITNEY [Parents] was born 1 May 1889. He married Maisie HOFFMAN on Oct 1922 in Rockford, Ill.

Kenneth was a sophomore at Alden High School in 1915.

Kenneth and Maisie planned to live at Delavan, where he was
connected with a photographic establishment.

In the 1910 Census Kenneth and his sister Maude show up as boarders at a house in Delavan.  Kenneth is shown as working at a knitting mill.

Maisie HOFFMAN was born 1 Oct 1900. She married Kenneth WHITNEY on Oct 1922 in Rockford, Ill.

Solon Hubert GULLICKSON [Parents] was born 5 Apr 1907. He died 1 Mar 1988 in Fertile, Minn. Solon married Orpha LOVE on May 1929 in Fertile, Minn.

Orpha LOVE [Parents] was born 7 Feb 1907 in St Croix Falls. She died 19 Aug 1989 in Fertile, Minn. Orpha married Solon Hubert GULLICKSON on May 1929 in Fertile, Minn.

Orpha came to Fertile, Minn., in 1928 as a teacher in the Fertile school.  Orpha and Solon were married in may of 1929.  She
continued her teaching career as a special eduction teacher from 1958 to 1979.

She was always active in her community and her church.  She was a member and director of the Concordia Church Choir for many
years, she founded the Ladies Quartet, was a soloist at many church and community events, and was a member and officer of the Concordia Ladies Aid for many years.

A talented singer, painter, and published poet and songwriter, Orpha always found time to share her talent through teaching others.
She received many awards and recognitions over the years for her dedicated services.

The following material was obtained at the Love House, St. Croix Falls, WI

Orpha Love, Lindsay Love's daughter, was born just two houses north of the Love House. Her mother, Florence MacDonald from Clear Lake, who was a teacher and also clerked at Thompson's store prior to her marriage, died shortly after her only child was born. Lin took
the infant home to his mother at the Love House.  Orpha lived at St. Croix many years attending grade school and High School, interspersed
with months in Minneapolis, Alexandria, Centuria and Ortonville with Aunts and her Dad.  Orpha thinks the beauty of the woods and the
sunsets at St. Croix are the inspiration for the many oil paintings she has painted.

The 1910 Census shows Orpha living with Samuel and Martha and their family at St. Croix Falls.

Richard WHITNEY [Parents] was born 1785 in Clarendon, Vt. He died 15 May 1857 in Clarendon, Vt. Richard married Jannet MCCOY on 6 Sep 1810 in Clarendon, Vt.

Richard and Jannet had a son, Monroe (no other information).

Jannet MCCOY married Richard WHITNEY on 6 Sep 1810 in Clarendon, Vt.

Sarah Ann WHITNEY [Parents] married Jonathon PARKER.

Noah WHITNEY [Parents] was born 1 May 1791 in Clarendon, Vt. He died 20 Jan 1876 in Phillipston, Mass.. Noah married Mercy FRENCH on 2 Dec 1813 in Brattleboro.

His father died when he was quite young, and he was obliged to

take care ofhimself when most youths were getting an education.

He was a farmer and amechanic, raised a family of nine children,

and always provided well for hisfamily.  He and his wife lived

together for 57 years.  He left a nice estateupon his death.

Mercy FRENCH was born 26 Feb 1794. She died 1 Oct 1871. Mercy married Noah WHITNEY on 2 Dec 1813 in Brattleboro.

They had the following children:
