Guy E WARD [Parents] was born 22 Jul 1909 in Woodman, Grant County, WI. He died 28 Oct 1974 in Dane County, WI and was buried 30 Oct 1974 in Roselawn Cemetery. Guy married Ruth DAVIS.

Monona - Guy E. Ward, age 65, 4107 Monona Drive, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 28,1974, at a Madison Hospital. Born on July 22, 1909 in Crawford County, Wisconsin, he was the owner and operator of the Monona Drive-In at 3528 Atwood Avenue.
Mr. Ward was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Davis; three sons, Jon and William, both of Madison, and Arien of Pompano Beach, Florida; a brother, Emmett of Madison; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Carver and Mrs. Annie Callaway both of Readstown, Wisconsin; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Gunderson Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Drive at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, with the Rev. Joseph Randall officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4 - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Heart Association.

According to the 1930 Census Peter and Elva and their family were living on a dairy farm in Hixon, Clark County, Wisconsin.

In the 1920 Census Peter was a butcher, working in a meat market in Hixon twp, Clark County, Wisconsin.

In the 1910 Census Peter and Elva were in Withee, Clark County, Wisconsin.  He was working as a butcher in a meat market.

Elva M. was born 1891. She died 1983. Elva married Peter J. MERTENS.

They had the following children:

Birth records list a daughter Brigitte (bapt. Aug 10/1851(4mo)), which family records do not show.

Ann NOBLE married John MURRAY.

She came to Eau Claire, Wisconsin just after the Civil War.

George was baptized 19 Jun 1859 in Ste. Anne de Restigouche, P.Q..

  F vii Anna MURRAY was born 14 May 1867.
  F viii Elizabeth MURRAY was born 1849.

Henry SMITH was born 1821. He died 1905.

Henry and his family moved to Murry, WI with his son-in-law, Jim Murray and Jim's brothers.
