Guy E. Ward
Monona - Guy E. Ward, age 65, 4107 Monona Drive, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 28,1974, at a Madison Hospital. Born on July 22, 1909 in Crawford County, Wisconsin, he was the owner and operator of the Monona Drive-In at 3528 Atwood Avenue.
Mr. Ward was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Davis; three sons, Jon and William, both of Madison, and Arien of Pompano Beach, Florida; a brother, Emmett of Madison; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Carver and Mrs. Annie Callaway both of Readstown, Wisconsin; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Gunderson Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Drive at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, with the Rev. Joseph Randall officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4 - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Heart Association.Sources:
